3 Reasons the Atlanta Falcons will win Super Bowl LI

We’re pretty excited this week. The Atlanta Falcons are going to the Super Bowl! As an Atlanta-based company, WindPouch team members are big fans of our hometown professional football team.

Not a Falcons fan? If your favorite team isn’t playing in this year’s Super Bowl or even if you aren’t a big football fan, we hope you’ll consider these points and root for our Dirty Birds this Sunday.

1. The Falcons score points. A lot of points.

The Atlanta Falcons own this year’s #1 NFL offense. Quarterback Matt Ryan has been red hot all season, throwing for 4,944 total yards with 38 touchdowns and only seven interceptions. Ryan had a league-leading regular season QB rating (calculated using a player's passing attempts, completions, yards, touchdowns, and interceptions) of 117.1, and is expected to be named this year’s overall MVP.

Besides Ryan, the Falcons have dangerous offensive weaponry in the form of wide receivers Julio Jones, Mohammed Sanu, and Taylor Gabriel and running backs Devonta Freeman and Tevin Coleman. The Falcons have scored over 30 points in a game 11 times this regular season. Against Tom Brady and a potent New England Patriots offense, this year’s big game is projected to be one of the highest scoring Super Bowls ever.

2. Atlanta is hungry for a championship.

Atlanta desperately wants to win. In our sports history, Atlanta professional sports teams have only won one championship: the Braves 1995 World Series victory over the Cleveland Indians.

At least, I think it was 1995. I was only seven years old at the time and my memory’s a little fuzzy. Meanwhile, Boston’s NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL teams have won nine championships- since 2002! C’mon guys, share the love!

3. Atlanta is all in.

After decades of rooting for lackluster sports teams, Atlanta residents have a bad reputation for being fair-weather fans. A few years ago, ESPN even called Atlanta the worst sports town in America. Deserved or not, this reputation is changing.

This season, Falcons’ Head Coach Dan Quinn has created an atmosphere of “Brotherhood” in the locker room- a new team philosophy focused on unselfish play and deeper appreciation and connection between teammates. And the rest of the city is rallying behind this family-first approach. For the first time in a long time, the city believes.

4… And just for fun. A Comfortable Offseason.

With the weight of Atlanta’s hopes and dreams on their shoulders, Falcons players are well aware that Sunday’s battle with the Patriots will be an incredible challenge. We hope they can rest easy knowing they’ll have the entire offseason to rest and recuperate in our comfy, durable WindPouch GO inflatable hammocks. Hey, we support our team on and off the field!

This Sunday, we invite you to #riseup with us and cheer on the Atlanta Falcons in Super Bowl LI!
